Timbits

This morning I left for a walk before Evelyn was even out of bed. I needed a few hours away from family.
My phone died about a kilometre before I got home, the pedometer on the phone had recorded my walk at 12km at that point.
On the walk I looked at some clothes and went, on Claire’s orders, to Tim Horton’s and took some Timbits for the team.

And I went to an actual post shop where the woman seemed the most confused by my accent than anyone other than my family or Air New Zealand staff has been. Actually the women at the clothes shop earlier not only understood my mumbling to myself when I didn’t think they were near or listening, but also thanked me for bring the nice weather.

On the walk back I was enjoying watching planes leave trails through the sky as they go to or from Alaska.
